New for 2011, the Crab Shack provides the ultimate cottage for relaxation on Mathews County's Chesapeake Bay in VA. From your roof top deck, enjoy expansive views of the East River. Watch the sun rise with your morning coffee on your private balcony. We've spent over a decade designing our property, Grandview, to give guests impeccable access to nature, relaxation, and privacy. The recently constructed, luxurious "Shack" is complete with a king size bedroom and gourmet kitchen. Excellent access to the Lower Chesapeake for intra-coastal cruisers & especially fisherman with dockage for small boats and deep water anchorage for a larger craft.
Try your hand at crabbing on the pier. Refresh yourself at our pool with grill and bar area ~ complete with outdoor TV. Revive yourself with a nap in the huge couple's hammock. Rejuvenate your body and spirit in the large hot tub.
The roof top deck dining area provides a perfect setting for candlelight nights or catching the sunrise over the water with your morning coffee. Birdwatchers love our spotting scope and binoculars for viewing dozens of water fowl and birds.
