The Carriage House

Eastham was featured in the prestigious Virginia historic garden week twice in the last couple of years.  An early nineteenth century house in the classic Tidewater Greek Revival style.  Eastham is on 12 acres located on the East River with wide views of the Mobjack Bay in the distance.

Nestled in the trees near the main property is a cozy, charming Carriage House that offers privacy without losing the charm of a Southern home.

Enjoy the water view from your own balcony as you watch a sunset over the Bay.  Or you are welcome to stroll the grounds.

You can bring your boat and tie up to the pier(3-4 ft mlw) or just fish and crab from the dock.

The village of Mathews Court House is two miles distant.  A public water access point is located one mile from Eastham Carriage House.

The Eastham  has twice been a special home the Historic Virginia Historic Garden Tours.
